I hate it when.....

Kids learn to take off their diapers. Rylan has been doing this for a couple of days. He loves it. He will come running to us absolutely naked and giggling. Tonight, however, it wasn't so funny. We were in the process of re-hanging Alyssa's curtains (since she has ripped them from the wall twice now - irritating!) and Rylan comes in her room just laughing and proud as can be. He took off all of his clothes and was strutting his stuff. He then climbed on Alyssa's bed and sat on her pillow. Then, we noticed the horrible stench....and realized he had been poopy and obviously was filthy. We also then screamed as we realized Alyssa had never put her pillowcase on her pillow (or Gavin didn't - the kids were fighting over who was supposed to :) ) and so Rylan had just smeared poop on the actual pillow. Tomorrow I will be running to the store to buy some large onesies. I haven't used onesies on him since he was a baby - but now since he is taking clothes off, I think the snaps at the bottom will help deter him from getting everything off - including poopy diapers! Yippee...the joys of parenting!
