"I Want to Help Haiti"

My kids have seen the news reports and have a slight understanding about the devastation in Haiti right now. They have heard the many pleas for help and they wanted to respond. Lately, they have been bringing me their change telling me that they want to give the money to Haiti. Alyssa has been giving Rylan coins and having him come up to me and tell me, "I want to help Haiti now." Alyssa told me it is good to help people we don't know. She said that it is sad in Haiti right now because all the houses crashed down and a lot of people died. Gavin wishes we could actually go to Haiti and help. I am glad I have tender-hearted kids who realize when others are suffering and who want to try to do some good.....even one penny at a time!
