Digital Scrapbooking

Well, I have been asked by many people what program I am using to design my pages. I am using Photoshop Elements 5.0. I have had the program for some time, but have just recently decided to figure it out and use it. I have not done any scrapbooking for at least 6 years. I have tons of supplies to do paper scrapbooking, but it has just become too difficult to do with the kids around. Digital scrapbooking is so handy - especially with the millions of digital pictures we take. I don't have to waste time or money printing pictures first. I also don't have to have a mess of supplies all over our table just inviting little helpers to get into!

It is an overwhelming task to scrapbook the quantity of pictures I have - for the past 7+ years; however, I am just going to do a little bit at a time! I am really enjoying learning this program. I also have to say, using this new laptop is making things so much easier. When I was doing pages at Christmastime for a photobook of our family vacation, our older desktop was running Photoshop SO slow. It took an incredible amount of time to do each page (in addition to the Photoshop learning curve!). I am loving how fast things load on this laptop!
