Please Pray for Porter

Last night, my cousin's two year old boy - Porter - fell from a second story window in their home and landed in a basement window well. His eight year old brother saw it happen and alerted his parents (can you think of anything more traumatic for a child - to see his brother hurt so bad?!). He was life flighted to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake in critical condition. From what I understand, he has lost function in a kidney, broken his back, and has experienced a great deal of internal bleeding. He is on a ventilator and is being kept sedated until they can fit a custom-made back brace and determine if the brace will stabilize his back enough or if he will need surgery. They are also not sure yet what nerve damage he has suffered.

Needless to say, poor little Porter needs our prayers! We ask that you please unite with our family and offer a prayer for Porter and for his family. They have a long road ahead of them. Prayer is powerful!
