Food Storage Fun

Kids are so creative! Our little basement is our storage area. We would eventually like to use it for its intended purpose - a family room - and move the tv and toys and everything down there...but until we get more organized and get more storage solutions for all of our junk, it gets to be the catch-all storage room. Recently, we bought some shelves at Costco and decided we needed to be better about building and organizing our food storage. We set up the shelves and started organizing our food and our new case lot deals. Gavin saw an opportunity to build a tower - with food storage. He looked around our junky basement and found all kinds of things to add to his "tower" including crayons, and empty two liter bottles! He was so proud of himself. Alyssa even joined in on the fun (but Gavin was in charge, of course). Maybe we really can get rid of all of the toys around the house now!
