Why I LOVE Albertsons

I became a coupon shopper several years ago. I subscribed to the 5 Sunday paper deals so I could collect all the coupon inserts. I was diligent with it for awhile and then it seems once Rylan came along, I got slack in my couponing efforts. Well, I was running low on my cold cereal supply (and for those that helped us move from our apartment to our house 2 years ago know I had a HUGE supply) and so I knew I needed to revamp my efforts and hit the next cereal sale. I caught the last day of the sale yesterday at Albertsons - being the last day, my selection was limited, but it was still worth it! I just want to share my savings with you. Yesterday I purchased the following:

Hamburger Helper x 10
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal x 7
Reese Peanut Butter Puff Cereal x 8
Nature Valley Roasted Nut Granola Bars x5
small bottle of honey (just 1 - needed for a recipe)
Lucky Charms Cereal x 11
Cocoa Puffs Cereal x 11

Fruity Cheerios Cereal x 1
Fruit Snacks/fruit roll ups x 22
Cake Mixes x 5
Frosting x 5
2 ltr of Coke (I needed one after trying to shop the last day of a sale with 3 kids at nap/lunch time - and needing 2 carts!)

TOTAL NUMBER OF ITEMS PURCHASED = 92
TOTAL SAVED = 246.79 ($24 in coupons)
TOTAL PAID = 72.29

I really need to start couponing again. I love saving so much money!!! YEAH for Albertsons!
