Mother's Day Weekend

For Mother's Day weekend we went to see Grandma Debbie & Grandpa Lynn up in Idaho. We left Friday night and got home late Monday night. It was such a nice visit. On Saturday morning, we went to the temple with Ammon. He leaves on his mission to Florida July 2nd. We met Troy and Mary at the temple too so it was nice. After the temple, we went to Fuddruckers for lunch. I had never been there before (I don't like the name! :) ), but discovered it was SO GOOD! I had a yummy teriyaki chicken sandwich with pineapple on it. Their bread is homemade and it was so good! We had a great time and it was so nice of Grandma Debbie to arrange a babysitter for our 3 kids. We hadn't spent 4 hours away from them for a long time! Saturday night, Peter and Joni surprised everyone and showed up. It was nice they were up there for Mother's day as well!

On Sunday we went to church and came home and Mike and I made honey lime chicken enchiladas for dinner and also some cilantro lime rice. It was delicious! After dinner, we all went to Payette to the cemetery to visit Erik's grave. We are coming up on 4 years (the 19th) of his passing. I can hardly believe it. Ammon clipped some beautiful lilacs from mom and dad's yard and we took them to the cemetery.

Our big news for the weekend:

Rylan is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!!
(in September)

Everyone is excited. We shared the news this weekend by having Rylan wear a special t-shirt.
Grandmas understood the meaning right away.....the grandpas needed a little assistance! :)
