Today was the last day of school and Gavin has officially finished his first year - and graduated from Kindergarten to 1st Grade! Alyssa, Rylan, and I waited for him to come home from school today at the bus stop. We had our loaf of bread and thank you cards ready for Larry the bus driver. Larry told me what a gentleman Gavin is. He said that 70% or more of the kids are just out of control the whole ride home every day. He said Gavin is never like that. He is always polite and just a gentleman. He told Gavin he is doing great and that he must have a great mom (how nice!). I don't know how Larry can stand to drive that many kindergarten kids home each day (it would drive me nuts!), but it was nice to know that my kid was one of the good ones and really is a gentleman - even when I am not right there with him! I am so proud of him.
