New Year's Fondue Party!

This year we continued our New Year's tradition and had a fondue party. We went to Jeff & Shauna's this year. Tony & Kathy were also there. I think each year, the food choices expand. Jeff & Shauna truly went above and beyond this year. I feel guilty for all the work they go to - but we sure enjoy it! :) This year, they did a three course fondue....we had cheese fondue, a main course fondue, and then chocolate fondue. Delicious! I just love our fondue party. I love all of the food - and the million choices of foods we have to dip with (I have no idea why we didn't take a picture of the spread!). I had never had a main course fondue before so that was a fun change to add that in.

After our fondue fun, we went outside to do fireworks to welcome in the new year. On our way outside, Kyler took a tumble down the cement stairs. It was so sad to helplessly watch it happen. Thankfully, he is a tough boy. He cried for a moment, but was happy to see the fireworks and happy to have his mom hold him! Sadly, our fireworks were not very good this year. I think Albertsons sold Jeff an old selection. The sparklers were fun - and the kids did enjoy the poppers.

I can't wait until New Years to have another fondue night. It is so good! Thanks, Jeff & Shauna for a great time - and thanks, Tony & Kathy for entertaining the kids :)!
