I just finished making Alyssa a skirt using a pair of Gavin's old jeans. I have seen skirts like this before and since I am on a little sewing kick lately, I thought I would give it a try. Gavin has a ton of jeans with holes in the knees and so I don't have much to lose to try to turn those old jeans into something new for Alyssa. I am pretty pleased with the end result. She loves it. She loves wearing skirts anyway. She also loves that it matches the headband I made her yesterday. (Oh and by the way - she started posing all by herself as soon as I got the camera out!)

I have seen those too--but I really liked how you added the pink heart patch--you always make stuff sooo cute!! :) Kara saw it and went crazy--she is VERY impressed!!
The skirt turned out real cute. She is totally working it!!
