The other day, while Gavin was in school, I decided to make a batch of play dough for Rylan and Alyssa to play with. Alyssa wanted purple play dough so I was able to use the gel food coloring I bought when I did the fondant for her birthday cake to make a vibrant purple play dough. She was excited. I got the kids set up with their cookie sheets, knives, and cookie cutters. Before they could play, we went through the rules about playdough - primarily, it HAS to stay on the cookie sheet! Alyssa and Rylan had a blast. While they played and were creative, Cambrie quietly sat in her Bumbo seat on the table behind them. She never cried or fussed.....but she did put herself to sleep!

I love it!! That is awesome, you made play dough---what a FUN mom you are!! I love how Cambrie just fell asleep in the Bumbo!!
I need to do more stuff like that with Kyler. I just worry that he won't understand. And he hasn't shown much interest in any kind of craft.
